Choosing the right music

Lyrical or fanfare?

Finding the right selections of music for your wedding can be a daunting task and is almost as difficult as choosing the right ensemble. The Urban Brass has an extensive wedding music library, which means we can play almost anything you want for your wedding, but we also have a repertoire suggestion list to make your life a little easier. The list is divided by the mood that you want, such as Beautiful, Angelic (lyrical), or Stately and Bold (fanfare). We also have links to all of the pieces so you can hear what they sound like. That way you can concentrate on the more important things and enjoy your special day.

One piece or multiple selections?

The most important music decisions are the pieces that you will have for your Processional. You can choose to have one piece for the whole processional,or have a separate piece fore each group for your wedding party. This can be great, but it can also be awkward, if the length of music doesn't match the length of the processional. This timing not only requires advance planning but, also sensitive experienced musicians who can adapt to last minute changes in the moment of the event.

If you want to begin a consultation on your ceremonial music selections, please fill out this form, and we will email you back ASAP!
